- meet local professionals working to understand Earth’s glaciers and climatic past?
This five-day workshop from June 22nd to June 26th on The Ohio State University Columbus Campus will feature hands-on exercises. An Autumn 2015 overnight trip to Cuyahoga Valley National Park will allow participants to see examples of bedrock stratigraphy, features characteristic of depositional and erosive environments, and Earth processes at work. Teams of teachers are encouraged to apply. This workshop is specifically geared to Ohio science content standards in the 8th grade and high school content standards in Physical Geology and Environmental Science.

Participating teachers will be expected to attend all days of the summer workshop and autumn trip and participate in activities. Cost for the entire program is $30. CEUs will be available to participants completing the program.
