My research focuses on surface water-groundwater interactions through field and laboratory experiments and computer models. I am particularly interested in multiphysics problems involving fluid flow, heat flow, and solute transport. One of my projects uses finite element models to understand seasonal changes in groundwater flow and permafrost within Arctic hillslopes.
