The Ohio State University's School of Earth Sciences and Byrd Polar and Climate Research Center are seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar to join the Polar Geomicrobiology Group, focusing on the study of microbial ecology in ice. This role involves spearheading an independent research program to uncover microorganisms' survival mechanisms and viability maintenance within glaciers and ice sheets.
