Principal Investigator

I'm an assistant professor at The Ohio State University at Marion and a principal investigator at the Byrd Polar and Climate Research Center. My research focusses on the biogeochemical cycling of nutrients in Earth's cryosphere. Frozen environments are experiencing rapid and intense change due to global climate change. I'm interested in learning how biogeochemical cycles are changing in concert with climate warming, and how these changes contribute to regional and global nutrient cycling.

I teach at The Ohio State University at Marion, a satellite campus in the Ohio State University system, located north of Columbus, OH. I enjoy teaching very much and appreciate the opportunity to interact with students, and share my passion for the Earth Sciences.
